SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing electrochemical cell component incorporating ion- exchange diaphragm connected to frame-shaped member includes following operations: edge on at least one side of ion-exchange diaphragm is coated with solution of polymeric material same as that used for manufacturing mentioned frame-shaped member or of polymeric material compatible with polymeric frame material in solvent mixed up with water; mentioned diaphragm coated with solution is seasoned and/or dried out; surface of ion-exchange diaphragm is brought in contact with mentioned frame-shaped member; ion-exchange diaphragm is connected to mentioned frame-shaped member.
