PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight member causing no hindrance to a flow of water by a core material even when using the core material for enhancing strength of the lightweight member. SOLUTION: This lightweight member is composed of a plate part, and a hollow almost frusto-conical part opening on the plate part. The frusto-conical part is provided with a reinforcing means in a contact part of the apex and the plate part. A member for constituting the conical part is formed of a plurality of plate-like members.
