PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film cutting detecting device capable of detecting a cutting of a film early with a detecting function even if the device is exposed with the hot air for treating the film in an oven. SOLUTION: This film cutting detecting device is formed of a blow-out nozzle provided in the oven for performing the thermal treatment to the film by injecting the heated air toward the plastic film, which is continuously and horizontally fed, from nozzles provided over and under the film so that a part of the heated air is taken out from a plenum duct for leading the heated air to the nozzles, a detecting nozzle provided opposite to the blow-out port of the blow-out nozzle at a position opposite to the blow-out nozzle in relation to the film and having an opening for detecting the dynamic pressure of the heated air blown out from the blow-out nozzle when the film does not exist, and a pressure switch for detecting a difference between the dynamic pressure received by the detecting nozzle and the static pressure inside of the oven.
