PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an output processing time by using a memory efficiently for intermediate data. SOLUTION: The image processor comprises a compressed natural image data size calculating section 22 for acquiring the size information of a write object from picture information represented by Page Description Language and calculating the size of intermediate data in the write object, and a memory management section 24 for assigning the intermediate data to continuous areas of a memory based on the size of the intermediate data calculated at the compressed natural image data size calculating section 22.
