PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer unit, and a printer comprising it, in which workability can be enhanced by facilitating setting/removal of an intermediate transfer sheet to/from the printer. SOLUTION: Tension levers 26 and 36 for imparting a tension to an intermediate transfer sheet 3 in the winding direction for winding around the outer circumference of a platen roller 11 at the time of intermediate transfer and disengaging from the intermediate transfer sheet 3 at the time of inserting or drawing out a supporting frame 12 are arranged on the printer body 7.
