PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a highly precise ultrasonic waveform with a retained sampling frequency even when one axis of the indicated waveform is magnified with an optional expansion factor in the display. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic waveform is sampled at a certain time period to be converted into a digital data group, individual digital data are converted into a coordinate group as a relationship between a time and a wave height, and the individual coordinates are connected to one another via a line to be displayed. In this process, the wave height at a time matching the each display coordinate on the display means side is found to be displayed according to a predetermined interpolation formula on the basis of the digital data group.
