METHOD FOR REINFORCING STEEL GIRDER BEAM OF BRIDGE AND STRUCTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for reinforcing a steel girder beam of a bridge and the structure of the reinforced steel girder beam are provided to improve a function and a use life of the bridge by increasing a strength thereof. CONSTITUTION: The structure for reinforcing a strength of the steel girder beam(30) to be installed on piers(10) in order to support an upper slab(20) comprises a steel girder beam support(33) installed under a lower flange of the steel girder beam, a plurality of bolt fastening holes(32a,32b) formed at regular distances along the steel girder beam, a first reinforcing plates(40,41) and a second reinforcing plate(50) to be fastened to the both edges of the steel girder beam with a high tensile bolt(60) and a fixing nut(61), and a plurality of bolt fastening holes(42a,42b,51) formed on the first and second reinforcing plates.
