PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for gene diagnosis capable of easily and accurately detecting a gene aberration of one base or more in a short time and reducing the size, weight, and costs of the device for automating the diagnosis at a low running cost. SOLUTION: In this gene diagnosis device, a separating DNA conjugate, in which a first base sequence and a polymer compound bondable with a DNA sample via hydrogen bonds are bonded for separating the DNA sample between a normal DNA and an abnormal DNA according to a bonding strength difference, a delaying DNA conjugate, in which a second base sequence and the polymer compound are bonded and the second base sequence has equal bonding strength to the normal DNA and the abnormal DNA for separating only a noise DNA, and the DNA sample are charged. When a constant voltage is impressed, the DNA inside a sealed flow passage is electrophoresed, and a passage amount of the normal DNA, that of the abnormal DNA, and that of the noise DNA are measured respectively by means of a detection part. |
