DOUBLE COVERING ELASTIC YARN AND STOCKINGS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide double covering elastic yarn excellent in antistatic property, appearance of fabric, touch feeling and bulkiness and stockings using the yarn. SOLUTION: This double covering elastic yarn is obtained by using an elastic fiber as a core yarn and successively winding lower winding yarn for covering and upper winding yarn for covering each composed of a thermoplastic resin around the core yarn. The double covering elastic yarn is characterized in that the lower winding yarn for covering contains electroconductive inorganic powder and has <=17 decitex yarn fineness and comprises filaments having 1-15 filament numbers and the upper winding yarn for covering is crimped yarn of filaments having <=2.0 decitex single fiber fineness and the upper winding yarn for covering and the lower winding yarn are wound in the same direction.
