PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing metal fitting in a wooden building of new structure having excellent mounting workability while improving the connecting strength of a connection part between structural members with a simple struc ture. SOLUTION: Metal plates 20, 20 are held between the inner peripheral surface of a fitting recess 18 and the outer peripheral surface of a fitting projecting part 16 at a connection part between the first structural member 12 and the second structural member 14. A locking projection 26a provided at one face of each metal plate 20 is locked in a slip-out through direction to the outer peripheral surface of the fitting projecting part 16, and a locking projection 26b provided at the other face of the metal plate 20 is locked in the slip-out direction to the inner peripheral surface of the fitting recess 18.
