PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely feed stacked sheets blocked with sheets close to each other by separating the sheets without installing an exclusive sheet separating device. SOLUTION: This vacuum suction paper feeding device 1 according to the present invention is for feeding paper by separating stacked sheets 6 one by one, and is constituted by a paper feeding roller 2, a suction regulating member 3 and a hollow shaft 4. The paper feeding roller 2 is rotated and horizontally moved along the upper face of an uppermost sheet 6A of the stacked sheets 6 in the direction from a front end 6a to a rear end 6b. A plurality of suction holes 21 are provided on the circumferential face of the paper feeding roller 2, the suction holes 21 having been blocked by the suction regulating member 3 are sequentially opened to be capable of suction, and the sheet 6A is sequentially sucked on the circumferential face of the paper feeding roller 2 from its front end 6A to the rear end 6b. The sheet 6A is securely separated by suction and rotation actions of the paper feeding roller 2 and fed to a printing part through a feeding means of a next process.
