PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective implement of a vibration isolation body for a hoisting machine and its using method, capable of protecting the vibration isolation body without a problem on strength even when the hoisting machine has high mass, and simplifying its installation work. SOLUTION: This protective implement is provided with a pillar block 6 demoutably inserted between a hoisting machine-side supporting member 2 and a building-side supporting member 3. The block 6 is provided with fixing holes for inserting bolts 5 connecting the hoisting machine-side supporting member 2 and the building-side supporting member 3 to prevent the falling and displacement of the hoisting machine 1. The block 6 is held and fixed by pedestals 7 mounted on the building-side supporting member 3 or the hoisting machine-side supporting member 2 for assisting the strength of the bolts 5 and provided with the threaded holes for the bolts 5, and the hoisting machine- side supporting member 2 or the building-side supporting member 3.
