PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resting pole and a resting space which require minimum space, especially minimum depth dimension, for installation thereof, eliminate uncomfortable touch of hardness, allow a person to lightly sit thereon, and also allow a person to touch and rest on the same even under the flaming sun in summer or under intense cold weather in winter. SOLUTION: The resting pole is formed of two columns 1 erected on the ground and a support member 2 horizontally extending across upper portions of the columns 1. Alternatively, the resting pole is formed of the single column 1 and the support member 2 horizontally bent from an upper tip of the column 1. The horizontal member has a surface layer formed of an olefin resin, a styrene plastic, or a rubber-base synthetic resin, and therefore it serves as an elastic support portion 21. |
