PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting control device for an engine for a vehicle capable of starting the engine without hindering durability of a transmission even in case of starting immediately after inputting an ignition key. SOLUTION: In this starting control device for an engine for a vehicle, an engine starting control means 108 starts the engine 14 after securing the transmission torque capacity of the transmission 12. Even if the torque for starting is input from the engine starting device (FMG 16), since the torque capacity inside of the transmission 12 is already secured, lowering of durability of the transmission due to a slip of a transmitting belt 12c is prevented. |
