PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for easily measuring photoelectrochemical characteristics of powder having photocatalytic properties. SOLUTION: This photoelectrochemical characteristic measurement device 10 is provided with a storage part 11 storing a suspension SP containing the powder having the photocatalytic properties, an irradiation device 12 irradiating the suspension SP with light, and a measurement part 13 measuring the electrical characteristics of the suspension SP. When the suspension SP containing the powder having photocatalytic properties is irradiated with light and the electrical characteristics of the suspension SP are measured, the photoelectrochemical properties of the powder can be measured with ease.
