PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problems of cost increase due to necessity of an exclusive facility, and necessity of work by hardware such as installation of an adjusting resistor in correction. SOLUTION: An external device 1 is provided outputting a random torque signal in an error measuring mode, and a motor-driven power steering controller 2 is provided for detecting the torque signal, calculating a difference between a detected torque value and a reference torque value, storing the difference as a torque correction value, and using the detected torque value in an actual control mode by correcting it by the torque correction value. Correction of a reading error can be provided by software, correction time can be shortened, and the correction of the reading error can be automatically corrected. |
