摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing an optical fiber and structural members in a semiconductor laser module by which a fixing operation is facilitated, a fixing state is fortified and secured, and durability is improved by efficiently using specific characteristics of welding, solder and an adhesive. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser module 1 is provided with a semiconductor laser beam source 7 which irradiates the input end 25 of the optical fiber 9 with a laser beam, a mount 5 for a light source which supports a semiconductor laser beam source 7, an optical fiber holding member 11 which holds the optical fiber 9 directly, and a mount 3 which supports these members. In fixing the optical fiber to the optical fiber holding member or the mount to the optical fiber holding member or to the mount for the light source, provisional fixing is carried out with the laser welding first and, subsequently, final fixing is carried out with the solder or the adhesive.
