POWER ROLLER UNIT FOR TOROIDAL TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power roller unit for a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of reducing adjusting load of outer diameter of a trunnion fitting part and a thrust race, measuring load at a corner R of the trunnion fitting part and tool cost. SOLUTION: The thrust race 38 provided between a thrust needle bearing and a trunnion 31 is provided with a race oscillating stopper 43 for regulating an oscillating range of the thrust race 38. The power roller unit is characterized by forming thickness of the race oscillating stopper 43 to be thinner than that of other portions.
