PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire having a belt reinforcing layer in which the high-speed durability of the tire with different rigidity in the circumferential direction of right and left tires at a tread part is improved, and the steering stability of the tire traveling on a general road is further improved. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic radial tire in which the belt reinforcing layer 5 is disposed adjacent to the belt layer 3, and a groove of different groove area ratio in the right-and-left direction of the tire center line CL is provided on the tread surface, the winding density of a reinforcing cord f located on the lower rigidity in the tire circumferential direction is higher. In the pneumatic radial tire with the reinforcing layer 5 disposed adjacent to the belt layer 3, the rigidity is different in the right-and-left direction of the tire center line so that the winding density of the reinforcing cord f located on the outer side of a vehicle is higher.
