PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and to improve strength. SOLUTION: A recess part 30 is formed at the center in the width direction of an upper wall part 20C of a front side member lower 20 at a portion to be a rear part 14 of a front side member 10, and a bead 32 is formed in the front and rear direction at each portion of an inclined part 16A and a flat part 16B of a dash panel 16. Both outer side parts 16C of the bead 32 in the dash panel 16 are overlapped on both side parts 20D in the upper wall part 20C of the front side member lower 20 and welded by one-side welding for welding only from the upper side of the front side member lower 20 (weld part P). These weld parts P are continued in the front and rear direction of a vehicle.
