PURPOSE: A vertical printing position control apparatus for offset printer is provided to perform a precision offset printing by controlling, in a fine manner, vertical printing position even during printing. CONSTITUTION: A printing position is input to a key, and a control motor rotates in accordance with the input printing position. A pulley(8) connected to a stepping motor rotates a feed nut(2) by the rotation of the control motor, and the power is transmitted to a sliding shaft(9), thus moving a lock gear(16) and controlling position of a cylinder(7). When feed nuts(2,4) rotate in a forward direction by a control signal, and cylinder moves by the control signal. The cylinder rotates in a reverse direction according to the control signal. When the cylinder has reached a limit point in a forward direction, a spring connected to a sliding shaft turns on a sensor switch through the upward movement of a sensor lever. When the cylinder has reached a limit point in a reverse direction, the spring connected to the sliding shaft turns off the sensor switch through the downward movement of the sensor lever.
