FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has turbine wheel with shaft, cylindrical reduction gear and supercharger wheel with shaft. According to invention, planetary step-up reduction gear is installed between cylindrical reduction gear and supercharger. Said planetary reduction gear has drive electric motor and control friction clutches one of which being brake of epicycle (epicyclic gear) and the other can lock sun gear with epicyclic (epicyclic gear). Planetary train carrier is installed on driven shaft of cylindrical reduction gear, and sun is made integral with shaft of supercharger wheel. Such design of supercharger drive makes it possible to disconnect reduction gear and turbine from electric motor at starting and increase speed of supercharger rotation under specific operating conditions of engine. EFFECT: reduced consumption of fuel owing to adjustment of filling under different operating conditions. 2 cl, 1 dwg
