PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device allowing obtaining of high grade images by making margins of front and rear ends of a first surface and a second surface coincide each other. SOLUTION: In this image forming device having pickup rollers (paper feeding means) 12a and 12b, image formation means (photosensitive drums 5Y, 5M, 5C, 5BK and developing devices 7Y, 7M, 7C, 7BK, etc.), a fixing device (fixing means) 17, a flapper (paper discharging direction branch means) 17 and a sheet reversing roller (sheet reverse means) 21, a carrier roller (sheet carrier means) 50, a JAM detecting sensor (sheet tip/rear end detection means) 51, a storage means for storing detected time and a paper refeeding means, contraction amount of the sheet after fixing the images of the first surface is calculated from signals of the JAM detecting sensor 51 of the first surface and the second surface before the formation of images, and image formation starting and finishing time for the second surface are controlled so as to make the same margins at tip/rear ends as that of the first surface. |
