PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aerosol composition that is highly compatible with water and instantaneously mixes with water and forms a large quantity of foams when sprayed onto water or a water-containing object and to provide an aerosol article. SOLUTION: There is provided an aerosol composition containing a propellant and a base liquid, wherein (1) the base liquid contains 0.1-90 wt.% surfactant, 3-40 wt.% hydrocarbon of a boiling point of -1 to 40 deg.C, and 5-90 wt.% water and/or water-soluble solvent, (2) the viscosity of the base liquid at 25 deg.C is at most 3,000 mPa s, (3) a compressed gas is used as the propellant, and (4) the pressure in a filled container at 35 deg.C is 0.2-1 MPa. |
