PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent color liquid crystal display device wherein the resolution when the translucent color liquid crystal display device is used a reflection color liquid crystal display is enhanced and which is manufactured at lower cost and to provide a back electrode substrate. SOLUTION: The back electrode substrate 108 formed by providing a light scattering film layer 109 and a back transparent electrode layer 105 on a pixel divided into a light reflection part and a light transmission part by a reflection mirror 115 and an observer side electrode substrate 107 provided with a color filter 102 and an observer side transparent electrode layer 101 are disposed opposite to each other and a liquid crystal material 104 is encapsulated between the electrode substrates. The light scattering film layer and the back transparent electrode layer are provided on the pixel of the back electrode substrate, which is divided into the light reflection part and the light transmission part.
