COLOR FILTER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter by which uniform cell gap can be realized and which has satisfactory productivity. SOLUTION: After a color layer and a transparent conductive film are formed, a resin light shielding layer is provided to form a black matrix and a spacer in which a photoresist layer for patterning the resin light shielding layer remains as an uppermost layer is formed. Thus, the color filter with the fixed spacer excellent in productivity can be realized in the same number of photolithographic stages as the usual color filter wherein no fixed spacer is used.
