METHOD FOR JOINING CONSTITUTION MEMBER MADE OF SOFT MAGNETIC POWDER MATERIAL AND TORQUE SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a constitution member made of a electrically-coated soft magnetic powder material can be joined with another constitution member without lowering nor varying its magnetic characteristics. SOLUTION: By the joining method for the soft magnetic compacted powder, the soft magnetic powder material is molded and heat-treated to obtain soft magnetic green compacts 12A and 12B, whose joined parts are irradiated with laser light from a semiconductor laser and fused into one. Then the joined parts are partially fused and joined with each other by irradiating a plurality of parts with the laser light of <=1.0μm in wavelength and >=1.0 mm in convergence width so that the reflectance is <=0.6. The soft magnetic green compacts 12A and 12B are not thermally affected when fused and joined together, so their magnetic characteristics neither decrease nor vary.
