PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable apparatus for remote control capable of being miniaturized without impairing the sensitivity of an antenna. SOLUTION: A key part 16a of a key plate 16 used in emergency is made out of a magnetic substance, and a receiving coil 18 is wound on the key part 16a to form a receiving antenna by the key part 16a and the receiving coil 18. As the key part 16a of the key plate 16 is also used as a core of the receiving coil 18, the portable apparatus 11 can be miniaturized without impairing the receiving sensitivity in comparison with a case when they are independently mounted.
