<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset sheet printing ink which can print on a microflute corrugated fiberboard regarded as difficult to print while retaining the functions required of a printing ink though the ink does not contain a petroleum-derived solvent harmful and causative of an environmental pollution. SOLUTION: This printing ink is prepared by mixing a pigment with a varnish comprising a rosin-modified phenol resin having a mol. wt. of 20,000-150,000 and a soy bean oil fatty acid ester and adding, to the resultant mixture, a calcium salt of an unsaturated fatty acid as a drying agent and a finely particulate resin, such as a styrene resin, an acrylic resin, or a benzoguanamine resin, having a particle size of 0.5-1.5μm.</p> |
