PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the external size of a display device which uses optical multi-layered structures and to simplify the structure by further making good use of the original characteristics that the optical multi-layered structures are simple. SOLUTION: A optical multi-layered structure array 10, constituted by arraying optical multi-layered structures 1 in matrix in a display area and making the individual optical multi-layered structures 1 function as pixels respectively and a driving circuit system 20 which applies a scanning voltage to the lower electrodes 2 that the individual multi-layered structures 1 have and a signal voltage to the upper electrodes 3, are formed on the same insulating substrate to simplify the connection structures among them and to emit a bonding structure.
