PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging device having an external box and capable of housing an equipment in the external box, and packaging the equipment safely. SOLUTION: The packaging device 10 having the external box 12 and housing and packaging a cooling unit 1 in the external box 12 is provided with a holding member 11 which is disposed in the external box 12 and holds the cooling unit 1 inside. The holding member 11 holds the cooling unit 1 with a predetermined space from the external box 12 around the cooling unit 1, and sustains the load in the vertical direction applied to the external box 12.
