PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a hydrogenated hydroxyl-group- containing conjugated diene polymer whereby a hydroxyl-group-containing conjugated diene polymer can be hydrogenated to a high hydrogenation degree easily and conveniently at a low cost without causing the coloration of the resultant polymer and without causing the cutting or separation of hydroxyl groups. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a hydrogenated hydroxyl-group- containing conjugated diene polymer by hydrogenating a hydroxyl-group- containing conjugated diene polymer, Raney nickel and palladium carbon are used together as catalysts; and an alcohol solvent, an ether solvent, a hydrocarbon solvent, or a mixture of these solvents is used as a solvent.
