PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture excellent calcareous and siliceous fertilizers by simple operation from waste china clay with which waste disposal is difficult. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the siliceous fertilizer comprises mixing the oxide, hydroxide or carbonate of calcium with the waste china clay, firing and melting the mixture, then rapidly cooling the mixture thereby forming a silicate of an amorphous, pseudo wollastonite or low-crystalline wollastonite structure of >=10.0 wt.% content of a soluble silicic acid component and >=25.0 wt.% content of a soluble alkali.
