PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a passenger conveyor that can simplify wiring between a safety device, and an intermediate terminal device and a control panel. SOLUTION: At least one intermediate terminal device 2A, 2B is disposed between a plurality of safety devices 3A to 3D and the control panel 1. The intermediate terminal devices 2A and 2B receive first information as an actuating signal from the safety devices 3A to 3D, and input common second information, for example, an emergency shutdown signal considering a set time, obtained from the first information into the control panel 1. Connecting means 5A, 5B, 6A and 6B for interconnecting the plurality of safety devices 3A to 3D and the control panel 1 are thus reduced in number and simplified.
