PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve formation of a high quality image where deterioration of image quality is prevention from lowering and print density is high, and formation of a high quality image by imparting a minimum necessary quantity of a print performance enhancing liquid. SOLUTION: After a print material is printed with color inks, a print performance enhancing liquid is imparted onto the color ink print region at least once, and then the image region imparted with the print performance enhancing liquid is printed with color inks. Print pattern at an ink jet part is then decimated according to a plurality of decimation arrangement patterns having complementary relations, and print operation of the decimated pattern is distributed to the going stroke and the returning stroke of main scanning. Print operation of a print pattern at the print performance enhancing liquid ejecting part is performed constantly during going stroke of main scanning. |
