摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for an air conditioner, in which comfort in a room is increased without causing the occupant to feel cool air, even when the room temperature is very low. SOLUTION: In a normal operation, when temperature 1b in an air-volume control is lower than 30 deg.C at the time of increase of indoor heat-exchanger temperature, the volume of air of the heat exchanger, that is, rotational speed 2b of a fan motor is controlled at ultralow speed. When the temperature 1b is 30-37 deg.C, the speed 2b is controlled at intermediate speed or below, while it is 40 deg.C or higher, the speed 2b is controlled at most at the high speed. When an air-volume control temperature 3b at the time of drop of the temperature of an indoor heat-exchanger is 34 deg.C or higher, the rotational speed 2b is controlled at most at the high speed, and when the temperature is 32-34 deg.C, the speed 2b is controlled at the intermediate speed or below. When the temperature is 28-32 deg.C, the speed is controlled at the low speed, and when the temperature is 28 deg.C or below, the speed is controlled at the ultralow speed or below. Further, when the indoor temperature is at about 10 deg.C or below, 20 min of 'cold start' is conducted, in which the temperature 1b is set higher than that in the normal operation.
