PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochromic display medium which eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional display media, such as card defects, is excellent in repeating durability, is not impaired in performance, such as flexibility, and is high in the degree of freedom relating to the form of a display section. SOLUTION: The electrochromic display medium is the display medium having the reversible display section which is held between two electrodes and with which electrical recording and erasing are possible on at least a flexible translucent base material. The reversible display section includes at least a layer of an electrochromic material and a layer of a polymer solid electrolyte having a skeleton dissolved with the supporting electrolyte.
