METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems which are attributed to intervention of air such as the generation of air bubbles between layers when an information recording member is laminated on a thermoplastic resin base material by a heat fusion-bonding process using a heat press and the generation of recessed parts on the periphery of the member when the member is laminated by thrusting it with the help of the heat press. SOLUTION: Prior to laminating the information recording member with the use of the heat press, the upper face of the thermoplastic resin base material 2 is thermally pressed with the help of a hot plate with a rough pressing face or roughed using the hot plate and a buffer material with a rough face. Alternatively, first the surface of the base material 2 may be smoothed by the heat press and then roughed with the help pf the heat press.
