<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch power transmission by friction torque and power transmission by direct coupling only by means of an electromagnetic clutch device. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic clutch device comprises an electromagnet 19, a friction clutch 15 and an armature 17 for engaging and disengaging the friction clutch 15 by a magnetic force of the electromagnet 19, and connects power from one to the other of a rotary case 3 and an inner shaft 5 interruptively. The armature 17 is divided into a first member 49 having engaging portions 51 and 52 for coupling the rotary case 3 and the inner shaft 5, and a second member 50 opposed to the first member 49 so as to transmit the magnetic force to the first member 49 and for controlling or engaging and disengaging the friction clutch 15 by the magnetic force of the electromagnet 19, and an energizing member 56 is disposed between the first member 49 and the second member 50 to separate them apart.</p> |
