PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dismantling method and a dismantling device of a shielding wall capable of dismantling and removing the shielding wall by a direct work by an operator by suppressing below a tolerance the radiation to which the operator or the like is exposed, heightening work efficiency, and reducing a work cost. SOLUTION: In this method, an opening part 12a is formed on at least a part of a lid part 12 of the shielding wall 1 involving a reactor body, and the activated shielding wall 1 remaining after removing the reactor body is dismantled. In the method, two processes are repeated alternately, namely, moving process for moving a moving floor slab 20 movable in the vertical direction inside the shielding wall 1, downward as long as a prescribed distance, while shielding the radiation from below, and a shielding wall removing process for cutting the shielding wall 1 positioned on the upper side than the moving floor slab 20 into blocks, and conveying and removing the cut shielding wall 1 to the outside.
