PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device for an elevator capable of allowing a handicapped person getting on a car of an elevator and the like to easily grip, and being easily mounted and demounted. SOLUTION: This handrail device is composed of floor members 3A, 4A, 5A placed on a floor face 1e of the car 1 moved up and down by the rotational driving of a hoisting machine, upright members 3B, 4B, 5B stood on the floor members 3A, 4A, 5A and having a desired height, and handrail members 3C, 4C, 5C mounted on upper edges of the upright members 3B, 4B, 5B in a horizontally extended state.
