PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emboss tape winding device capable of preventing a slip-out of the tape from a groove when starting to wind the tape. SOLUTION: A winding reel 11 is stopped when a sensor detects the groove 18. A side plate widening member 36 widens a space 14 between reel side plates 13 and while a tape guide 20 is turned in a reel core 12 direction to insert a tip of the emboss tape 21 into the groove 18. A stopper 28 locks a tip of the emboss tape 21, and after resetting the side plate widening member 36 and the tape guide 20, a driving shaft 16 is driven to wind the emboss tape 21 around the winding reel 11. With this structure, a slip-out of the emboss tape 21 can be prevented.
