PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a managing device for an elevator in case of a flood capable of taking countermeasures against the flood damage in accordance with a flooding condition of each elevator when a number of elevators are flooded. SOLUTION: This managing device for a flood is provided with a first detector 6 positioned corresponding to a first flood water level of a pit 2, and a second detector 7 positioned corresponding to a second floor water level upper than the first flood water level of the pit 2. A drainage pump 4 of the pit 2 is energized by the operation of the first detector 6 by a control device. Further a dangerous water level arrival time when the flood arrives at the flood dangerous water level 9 higher than the second flood water level, is estimated and reported to a monitor device. The priority for calling out maintenance workers is determined on the basis of the report. Whereby the priority for taking the countermeasures can be determined on the basis of the reports on a number of flood damages, when the flood damages occur in a wide area, and the management for flood damage by the limited number of maintenance workers can be simplified.
