PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding refuse container which is simple in structure, inexpensive, easily folded, and safely fixed in a folded condition, and capable of fitting advertisement. SOLUTION: This folding refuse container comprises a back wall part 1 fixed to the ground, a front wall part 29 slidable in the longitudinal direction, right and left side wall parts 8a and 8b, and an upper wall part 17. A front end part and a back end part of the right and left side wall parts 8a and 8b are hinge-coupled to the front wall part 29 and the back wall part 1, respectively, a front end part and a back end part of the upper wall part 17 are hinge- coupled to the front wall part 29 and the back wall part 1, respectively, a vertically valley-folding part 9 is provided substantially on a center part in the longitudinal direction of the right and left side wall parts 8a and 8b, a ridge-folding part 18 is provided in the lateral direction substantially on a center part in the longitudinal direction of the upper wall part 17, and a folding mechanism 40 for folding the side wall parts 8a and 8b and the upper wall part 17 at the valley-folding part 9 and the ridge-folding part 18 is provided.
