PORTABLE COMPOUND WIRELESS TERMINAL IN WHICH PORTABLE PHONE AND PORTABLE INFORMATION TERMINAL ARE COMBINED

PURPOSE: A portable compound wireless terminal in which a portable phone and a portable information terminal are combined is provided to conveniently and efficiently input a key by using a keypad in both sides and processing the key input of a portable phone function mode/portable information terminal function mode corresponding to a located state of the keypad. CONSTITUTION: A base(12) has a touch screen input/output unit(18) at its upper surface. A keypad(14) is installed at one side of the base(12) by a hinge type for having an aperture(34) for providing a display window when a portable compound wireless terminal(10) performs the function of a portable phone, having key buttons associated with the function of the portable phone at its front surface, and having key buttons associated with the function of a portable information terminal at its rear surface. A keypad sensor unit(42) senses whether the keypad(14) descends on an upper surface of the base(12). A control unit selectively activates the first key matrix of the key buttons associated with the function of the portable phone and the second key matrix of the key buttons associated with the function of the portable information terminal according to the sense of the keypad sensor unit(42).
