PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract correct frequency information considering the influence by noise components. SOLUTION: First to fourth filtering operations are performed by using low-pass filter and high-pass filter of different cut-off frequency. After operating the sum of products after each filtering operation, the frequency corresponding to the resonance frequency is obtained from each operation result of the sum of products. Since the obtained frequency has different influential degree of the noise components, the frequency with less influential degree of the noise components is selected from the obtained frequency. The frequency obtained by smoothing the selected frequency is employed as the resonance frequency for estimating the tire pneumatic pressure.
