PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a softener composition formulated with a highly adsorbable silicone almost all of which acts for improving the touch feeling of the textile product applied therewith, thus having effects equivalent to those with conventional cases in smaller amounts than the conventional cases. SOLUTION: This softener composition comprises an organopolysiloxane having in the molecule at least one anionic group and a tertiary amine, a salt thereof or a quaternarized product thereof having in the molecule an ester group and/or amido group and at least one 10-36C alkyl or alkenyl group.
