PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous cosmetic having excellent makeup effects such as conspicuousness of sites where the cosmetic is used and creation of a more attractive personal appearance, persistence thereof and uniformity of finished films and good usability, feeling of use, safety and stability. SOLUTION: This aqueous cosmetic comprises (A) a candelilla resin, (B) a water-soluble polymer and (C) a lower alcohol.
