PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure oil consumption by an operation of an engine with an inexpensive device having a simple structure and high measuring accuracy. SOLUTION: This measuring device comprises an oil feeding duct 4 for distributing oil sucked from an oil pan 1 by a suction pipe 2, an oil return tank 10 for supplying and reserving the sucked oil from the oil feeding duct 4 to return it to the oil pan 1 after the measurement, a solenoid valve 5, a sampling pump 6, an air bleeder 7, and a mass flow meter 8 that are sequentially from the suction pipe 2 side in the oil feeding duct 4, and a measuring device 9 connected to the mass flow meter 8. A mass value of the sucked oil after removing, by the air bleeder 7, air mixed in the sucked oil flowing through the oil feeding duct 4 is measured by the mass flow meter 8, and this mass value signal is measured by the measuring device 9 in time between an integrated weight value and an operation mode of the engine to measure and display the oil consumption.
