FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressors and turbines. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as sealing of compressor or turbine shaft of gas turbine plant or gas transportation blower. Proposed sealing has stator and rotor surfaces installed with radial clearance. Multistart thread is made on rotor surface. If thread is cut both on rotor and stator surfaces, sense of helix is opposite. Number of rotor thread teeth does not exceed 460, and that of stator, 660. Thread helix angle alpha does not exceed 89°, depth of thread teeth h does not exceed 165 mm, Pitch S1, S2 of thread both on stator and rotor does not exceed 160 mm. Width beta of tooth top land does not exceed 35 mm. radial clearance delta between rotor and stator does not exceed 20 mm and width H of thread on each surface does not exceed 250 mm.
